Grades are earned, not given. The grading scale is as follows:
100%- 91%= A 90%- 85%= B+ 82%- 80%= B- 76%- 73%= C 69%- Below= N
92%- 90%= A- 86%-83%= B 79%-77%= C+ 72%- 70%= C-
Homework:
Late work:
Please help your student learn to be responsible by helping them get all their work turned in on time. Late work will be accepted for partial credit, and the student may miss out a separate activity or recess to make up their work.
Home Communication Folders:
Please, check these every day. Anything in the left side needs to be completed and sent to school next day.
Rules and consequences:
Monroe rules are the following:
- Follow directions first time given.
- Keep your hands, feet and other objects to yourself (KYHFOOTY).
- Be on task.
- Communicate positively.
In 4th Grade we also expect a willing and positive attitude.
If an individual has a minor lapse of judgment, these are the consequences:
1. They will have a warning and move his-her clip down.
2. Sent to think time.
3. Think time in a Buddy Room.
4. Contact parents.
5. Sent to the office.
